Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Service Associate to join our team at CharterCARE Health Partners. As an Environmental Service Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive environment for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient food trays to patient care areas
- Transport patients and supplies as needed
- Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment needed to meet the needs of the patient in patient care areas
- Assist patients, visitors, and hospital staff as needed
- Clean and disinfect patient care areas daily and after discharge
- Transport supplies from Central Services
Requirements:
- High School diploma and current Family and Friends CPR certification preferred
- 1-3 months of experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills and understanding of customer service
- Ability to speak, read, write, and follow instructions in English at the fifth grade level
Preferred Experience:
- Housekeeping, custodial, janitorial, hotel services, food handling, transporting patients and supplies, disinfecting containers, equipment using detergents, and disinfecting solutions
