About the Role

Messer Americas is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective diagnostics and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct mileage and time-based preventative maintenance as scheduled
  • Complete visual inspections to capture defects and hazards before they become an issue
  • Repair equipment upon failures to ensure safe and reliable operation
  • Manage parts inventory to decrease downtime
  • Collaborate with site management and local vendors to schedule equipment repairs
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 years of mechanical experience or certification from a diesel mechanic trade school
  • Valid driver's license
