Job Title: Mental Health Clinician

CASES is seeking a Mental Health Clinician to join the Forensic Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) team. The FACT Mental Health Clinician provides treatment and services to clients in the community with high fidelity to the ACT model.

The Mental Health Clinician provides educational, vocational, and employment support services to clients with the goal of promoting recovery and stability in the community. The team delivers comprehensive and effective services to individuals with severe mental illness, co-occurring substance use disorders, and histories of criminal legal system involvement.

The Mental Health Clinician will provide 80 percent of treatment contacts in the community, complete documentations required by the NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH) and NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene's (DOHMH) licensing guidelines, and collaborate with client's support network and other service providers.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with serious mental illness, co-occurring substance use disorders, and various evidence-based models pertaining to treatment of substance use and mental illness. The candidate will be a team player, highly organized and self-motivated, and proficient in computers.
