Position Overview:

As a key member of the RTX team, you will play a pivotal role in the development of advanced FPGA solutions for our cutting-edge electronic systems. Your expertise will guide the architecture and design of FPGA systems, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture and design of FPGA-based systems, including the selection of components, interfaces, and operational concepts.
  • Establish and implement project processes and operational strategies.
  • Drive project execution independently, adhering to timelines and budget constraints.
  • Oversee large, integrated teams on significant multi-year initiatives.
  • Design, develop, and validate complex configurable logic solutions that enhance existing products.
  • Address undefined challenges by conducting thorough investigations to identify root causes.
  • Engage with stakeholders across various functions, including customers and executive leadership.
  • Translate high-level system requirements into detailed FPGA specifications.
  • Produce comprehensive documentation, including requirements, verification plans, and user manuals.
  • Facilitate internal and external technical reviews and process assessments.
  • Implement strategies to enhance the functional organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in FPGA design, verification, and integration, along with a strong understanding of organizational best practices.
Experience must include:


o Specification and development of system-level FPGA requirements and architecture, with an ability to assess impacts on projects and systems.

o Proposal development, including estimating, resource allocation, and schedule planning.

  • Capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance prior to employment.
An advanced degree in a relevant field may substitute for two years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in FPGA design in areas such as:

o Radar and image processing techniques for various sensors.
o Embedded systems design utilizing ARM or similar processors.
o High-speed serial interfaces and transceivers.
o Assertion-based verification and UVM with System Verilog.
o Leadership experience in technical teams and programs.
