Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Manager of the Flight Test Instrumentation Labs and Procurement Team within the Test & Evaluation Directorate of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics based in Fort Worth, TX.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical oversight of the Team as well as cost and schedule performance of assigned work-scope.
  • Manage the Flight Test Instrumentation Lab, including hardware acceptance, modification, system integration, checkout, trouble-shooting, and repair.
  • Oversee the Strain Gauge Lab, including installation, trouble-shooting, and repair.
  • Lead the Procurement Team, responsible for submittal, coordination, and tracking of Flight Test Instrumentation and Data Processing Procurement Requests.
  • Manage subcontractors and buyers, identifying and mitigating procurement risks.
  • Ensure inventory storage and management, as well as kitting.
  • Collaborate with multiple Instrumentation Engineering teams, Instrumentation Manufacturing and Fabrication Team, and Test Sites.
  • Interface with Supply Chain Leadership, Program Management, Test Site Leadership, LM Aero Senior Leadership, and various other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection, and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
Requirements
  • Test Lab or Procurement Experience.
  • Technical Project Management experience.
  • Engineering/Technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Desired Skills
  • Instrumentation Test Lab Experience.
  • Procurement Experience for Instrumentation or other Development (non-production) environment.
  • Flight Test Experience.
  • New business proposal development experience.
  • Technical Leadership Experience.
  • Previous L-Coded Leadership Experience.
  • CAM or OBS Manager Experience (Earned Value Management).
  • Program Experience and LOB Familiarity.
  • Experience effectively briefing Senior and Executive Level Leadership.
Security Clearance

This position requires a government security clearance, and the selected candidate must be a US Citizen.
