Job Summary

The Delivery Driver/Shop Technician is a critical role within our organization, responsible for ensuring customer products and equipment are delivered safely and accurately. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Pickup Services: Make deliveries and pickups of customer orders, ensuring all required documentation is completed and submitted to supervision and/or assigned dispatch.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Provide support on all fleet vehicles and trailers, diagnose and repair equipment, and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pull orders with accuracy and eliminate errors, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of customer products.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Clean and maintain company vehicles and trailers, and perform other facilities maintenance duties as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • SAFER Competencies: Demonstrate sincere and committed customer service and safety, accurate and productive work habits, and a fearlessly ethical approach to work.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience: Three plus years of experience in equipment assembly and repair, with two plus years of delivery experience preferred.
  • Skills: Interpersonal skills, ability to clearly communicate with other employees and supervisors/managers, and a valid driver's license.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to regularly push and/or pull 110 pounds (wheeled rack) with safety PPE, and meet the physical demands of the job, including frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
Working Conditions
