Job Title: New Model Program Launch Engineer

At Foxconn EV System LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled New Model Program Launch Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our launch team, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and managing the overall vehicle launch process with clear deliverables, milestones, and gateways.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a cross-functional engineering team for development, landing, and implementation of new programs and continuous improvement projects applying project management methodologies and LEAN manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with production areas to develop budget plans and ensure the plant launch staffing plan and budget are sufficient to deliver a successful launch.
  • Support constraint activities to improve production performance throughout the facility and validate that the plant launch organization is properly selected, developed, and led.
  • Develop, manage, and deliver a plant launch timing plan and deliverables, ensuring the training of hourly and salaried plant launch team members is on schedule.
  • Supervise and coordinate the launch team by providing direction and leadership, prioritizing the day-to-day activities, and ensuring the operating system is in place.
  • Represent the voice of the plant during launch and keep the plant informed of the latest launch status and request launch support resources according to priorities.
  • Engage plant personnel in virtual builds and early build process of prototypes, optimize equipment programs, and troubleshoot issues to identify root cause.
  • High involvement in data analysis and demonstrated hands-on approach, analytical abilities, and attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management, or similar is required.
  • 3 years of experience in Project Management, industrial engineering, manufacturing environment, and knowledge of ISO TF 16949, Tier-1, and contract manufacturing operations is preferred.
  • PMP Certification, AGILE knowledge, and proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks, Catia, etc.) are a plus.
