Job Title: Principal Software Engineer/Software Architect

CooperSurgical is a leading fertility and women's healthcare company dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that enhance the work of healthcare professionals. We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer/Software Architect to join our CSI R&D Software team.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of new features and enhancements for existing products and applications.
  • Develop and maintain cutting-edge software solutions for cryopreservation and inventory, storage, donations, and billing management.
  • Collaborate closely with technical support staff and engineers to provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues.
  • Drive the evolution of software development practices, including identifying opportunities for automation, efficiency, and innovation.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to foster their growth and development.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, demonstrating a significant increase in responsibilities and leadership within the software development field.
  • Extensive experience in.Net, C#, Entity Framework, and MS SQL, with a proven track record of delivering complex and high-quality software solutions.
  • Strong expertise in unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) methodologies.
  • Thorough understanding of AWS cloud solutions, including S3, RDS, and EC2.
  • Advanced knowledge of DevOps practices, Git version control, test automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) best practices.
