We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical and professional duties utilizing complex imaging equipment to produce high-quality MRI images.
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI scans and procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during the scanning process.
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, including troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely image interpretation.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with new imaging protocols and techniques.
- Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program with special education in MRI technology.
- ARRT(R) certification with a preference for (MR) certification.
- CT State License and CPR Certification required.
The MRI Technologist will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, risk of radiation, and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the environment is moderate.
