Cybersecurity Education Program Lead

The Department of Defense requires a Cybersecurity Education Program Lead to guide a team in analyzing policies that determine cyber resilience. This role involves overseeing staff working on the assessment of current cyber policies, their coverage, and areas of risk. The ideal candidate will evaluate policies against regulations, best practices, and industry standards, and develop a strategic cyber roadmap to ensure secure operations in an evolving IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team in assessing current cyber policies and identifying areas of risk
  • Evaluate policies against regulations, best practices, and industry standards
  • Develop a strategic cyber roadmap to ensure secure operations
  • Collaborate with clients to understand acceptable risk and availability

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity education best practices
  • Ability to communicate concisely and clearly to senior executives and senior Military Officers
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree or 18+ years of experience in cybersecurity in lieu of a degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience coordinating with Colleges and Universities regarding cybersecurity curricula
  • Knowledge of cyber education best practices
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely via oral, written, and visual means
  • Master's degree in Cybersecurity
  • CISSP Certification
