Position Overview:
KellyMitchell Group is in search of a Procurement Sourcing Expert who will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders throughout the sourcing lifecycle. This role includes aiding in project evaluation, formulating sourcing strategies, assessing supplier capabilities, and negotiating agreements to meet financial and quality targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster robust working relationships and maintain clear communication with clients and suppliers.
- Assist in the development, execution, and management of contracts while interfacing with various levels within the organization and supplier entities.
- Collaborate closely with Procurement Buyers and the Sourcing Team to uncover sourcing opportunities.
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of commodities, including source selection, vendor management, and asset acquisition and disposal.
- Ensure suppliers consistently meet or surpass quality, cost, and performance benchmarks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in purchasing, sourcing, or a related field is required.
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Strong team collaboration and project management skills are preferred.
- Experience in vendor management, including performance oversight and continuous improvement, is preferred.
- Proven ability to maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers is preferred.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, including experience with cost-benefit analysis, are preferred.
- Experience in contracting and negotiation is preferred.
- Highly self-driven, with the capability to effect change in a decentralized environment.
- Ability to create and deliver persuasive presentations to various organizational stakeholders.
