Job Summary:

The Department of Kinesiology in the College of Health and Human Development at Penn State University is seeking a part-time administrative support assistant to provide up to 15 hours of support per week. The successful candidate will assist with various tasks, including seminar series management, SharePoint maintenance, website updates, special event promotion, and marketing communications for the Joe Humphreys Fly Fishing Program and Alumni Spotlight.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the planning and execution of seminars and events
• Maintain and update SharePoint sites and websites
• Design and create promotional materials for special events and programs
• Provide marketing and communications support for the Joe Humphreys Fly Fishing Program and Alumni Spotlight
• Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping

Requirements:

• Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft O365
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Adobe Express, InDesign, and Photoshop experience a plus
