About the Role

Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in providing high-quality patient care. This role involves working as part of an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the biophysical, psycho-social, and age-specific needs of patients are met.

  • Perform designated job duties under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse while maintaining the LPN scope of practice.">
  • Participate in the development of an individualized interdisciplinary plan of care for each patient.">
  • Implement the individualized plan of care according to established standards and policies, ensuring the highest level of patient care.">
  • Monitor patient outcomes and report any abnormal findings to the Assistant Clinical Manager/Supervisor.">
  • Administer specified medications according to established standards and policies.">

Schedule and Work Environment

This position offers flexible scheduling options with the opportunity to work day, evening, or night shifts, including weekends. The work environment is primarily long-term care settings such as nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, or other similar facilities.

Benefits and Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is around $83,000, based on an average hourly rate of $40 and 2080 hours worked per year. Additional benefits include competitive pay, paid time off, weekly pay, and access to a 401k plan.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, you must have a minimum of one year of experience working in a long-term care facility. A completion of an accredited practical nursing program is also required. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to maintain accurate documentation.
