The role of a Relationship Banker involves actively engaging with clients in a welcoming environment to provide education and assistance in utilizing self-service banking options, including mobile and online banking, as well as ATMs. This position is essential in ensuring accurate and efficient processing of cash transactions when required. A key aspect of this role is to have meaningful conversations with clients to understand their financial and personal priorities, thereby connecting them with appropriate solutions to achieve their financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold the bank's risk management culture while striving for operational excellence.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients to address their financial needs.
  • Adhere to established processes and guidelines in daily operations to ensure the best outcomes for clients and the bank, complying with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Enhance business knowledge and network by collaborating with specialists in small business, lending, and investment sectors.
  • Effectively manage client traffic, appointments, and outbound communications.
  • Enhance the overall client experience.
  • Handle cash responsibilities with diligence.

  • Proficient in educating clients on conducting simple banking transactions using self-service technologies.
  • Applies critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address clients' needs.
  • Committed to following established processes and guidelines to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Efficiently manages time and workload.
  • Results-oriented while prioritizing the client's best interests.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and/or extended hours as necessary.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in the financial services sector with knowledge of industry products and solutions.
  • At least one year of proven sales experience in a role with individual sales targets.
  • Six months of experience in cash handling.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or a relevant Associate's Degree in business management, administration, or finance.
