Key Responsibilities:- Oversee a range of programs and processes, including complex underwriting, to achieve business goals and outcomes.

- Build effective relationships with brokers and deliver high-quality customer service as a role model for the team.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and learning, mentoring and developing colleagues through effective leadership and training programs.
- Contribute to new business development, attending broker events and building new relationships across the market.
- Proven underwriting experience in Excess Casualty, with a successful record of selling Environmental, Excess or Primary Casualty, NA Auto, WC, AL, GL, DBA, Foreign Casualty products to clients.
- Deep technical expertise and analytical skills.
- Proven people management skills and a record of developing more junior colleagues.
- Ability to analyze financial statements and communicate complex information effectively.
- Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Customer and sales-orientated behaviors, including motivation, tenacity, focus, technical skill, proactivity, and accountability.
A competitive salary range of $135,000-152,000, with eligibility for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
