About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our team at Delta Dental of California. This role is responsible for analyzing dental experience to support forecasting, reserving, fee development, regulatory requirements and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive analysis ranging from client-specific to global using experience from the largest, most complex datasets.
  • Conducts analysis, pricing and risk management to estimate financial outcomes using actuarial modeling.
  • Guides and mentors analysts.
  • Provides review of analyses developed by Actuarial Analysts.
  • Prepares and presents documents to support analysis to internal and external customers.
  • Supports fellow actuarial team members through peer review process.
  • Advises and provides guidance on actuarial reporting to internal and external customers.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of analyzing actuarial data with a Bachelor's degree. SQL skills are preferred, as well as MS suite skills in Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
