Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Bayer Heritage Federal Credit Union. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members through phone interactions, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality service to members by answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process transactions, accept loan requests, and provide information on products and services to members.
  • Listen to members' needs and identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell products and services.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential member account information on our computer system.
  • Stay up-to-date on credit union policies, procedures, and products to ensure that members receive the best possible service.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • One to three years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a financial institution.
  • A high school education or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups of people.
  • Good listening and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions with minimal supervision.
