Role Description:

We are seeking a self-motivated and dynamic Environmental Noise Specialist to join our team. As an Environmental Noise Specialist, you will provide high-quality noise assessments, pre-and-post construction noise surveys, and modeling noise impacts. You will also provide noise mitigation recommendations to our clients and work on a diverse project portfolio, including projects in the energy, industrial, and transport sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for an acoustic professional looking to advance their career with a global design and engineering company. Arcadis offers a flexible working environment and follows a hybrid work structure, allowing you to work remotely and from the office as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply technical knowledge to support acoustical technical analyses for client projects
  • Develop noise assessments, including background noise surveys, noise impact modeling, and noise mitigation design
  • Perform noise impact analyses for Environmental Assessment and Impact Statements
  • Correspond and collaborate with Arcadis Air and Noise Community of Practice to ensure technical review of documents and support the expansion of our acoustical services globally

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in acoustics, engineering, environmental science, or related field of study
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in acoustic engineering or consulting
  • Experience with Cadna/A noise prediction software
  • Ability to travel and work in the field collecting data

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master of Science degree
