Role Description:
We are seeking a self-motivated and dynamic Environmental Noise Specialist to join our team. As an Environmental Noise Specialist, you will provide high-quality noise assessments, pre-and-post construction noise surveys, and modeling noise impacts. You will also provide noise mitigation recommendations to our clients and work on a diverse project portfolio, including projects in the energy, industrial, and transport sectors.

You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a diverse team and have the capacity to balance varying priorities. Arcadis offers a flexible working environment and follows a hybrid work structure, allowing you to work remotely and from the office as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply technical knowledge to support acoustical technical analyses for client projects
- Develop noise assessments, including background noise surveys, noise impact modeling, and noise mitigation design
- Perform noise impact analyses for Environmental Assessment and Impact Statements
- Correspond and collaborate with Arcadis Air and Noise Community of Practice to ensure technical review of documents and support the expansion of our acoustical services globally
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in acoustics, engineering, environmental science, or related field of study
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in acoustic engineering or consulting
- Experience with Cadna/A noise prediction software
- Ability to travel and work in the field collecting data
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master of Science degree
