Job Title: Signal Processing Engineer with Machine Learning Expertise

About the Role:
TEKsystems is seeking a skilled Signal Processing Engineer with expertise in Machine Learning to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing speech enhancements algorithms for use in multi-microphone far-field applications such as a voice assistant.

Experience with acoustic spatial signal processing is desired including techniques such as acoustic beamforming source localization blind source separation and noise reduction.

Deep machine learning experience is a plus.

This position typically requires a masters degree in electrical engineering and more than 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Technical creativity is required.

The ability to study existing techniques and subsequently enhance and adapt these techniques to meet the needs and constraints of our products is critical.

The candidate will be involved in the process of reducing an algorithm to practice in software for use in a real-time application.

The candidate will also be involved in testing algorithms and comparing test results.

Responsibilities:
- Develop speech enhancements algorithms for use in multi-microphone far-field applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement algorithms
- Conduct research and development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements

Requirements:
Masters degree in electrical engineering
8 years of experience in speech and audio algorithm development
Programming in C MATLAB. Python is a plus
Experience developing real-time audio processing software
