Job DescriptionWe are seeking a friendly and compassionate Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive care to patients with heart-related conditions.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests
- Collaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions
- Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Conduct cardiac stress tests, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and other diagnostic procedures
- Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, preventive measures, and the importance of medication adherence
- Provide counseling and emotional support to patients and their families
- Assist with cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other invasive procedures under the supervision of a cardiologist
- 6 months experience in long-term care
- DEA License
- Nurse Practitioner
- Experience in cardiology
