Overview of the Store Operations Manager Role

In this role, you will recruit exceptional talent and nurture associates for future advancement. You will provide strategic leadership to meet or surpass sales, payroll, and expense objectives. Your responsibilities will include managing store operations effectively, ensuring optimal inventory levels, and upholding visual merchandising standards. You will guarantee that all customers receive outstanding service and enjoy a positive brand experience.

Key Responsibilities

· Ensure the store achieves or exceeds sales and promotional targets while adhering to payroll guidelines based on current market trends.

· Organize, prioritize, and modify schedules and daily tasks to align with business objectives; hold the team accountable for achieving these goals.

· Train and inspire all associates through continuous development programs focused on sales, customer service, and product expertise.

· Evaluate performance and provide ongoing constructive feedback.

· Conduct performance reviews and establish development plans.

· Ensure the team delivers an exceptional customer experience to meet world-class service standards.

· Maintain a strong presence through effective floor management and ensure adequate staffing across all store areas as necessary.

· Foster an environment where all associates are treated with fairness, dignity, and respect, in line with our "People First" philosophy.

· Collaborate with District Managers and peers to develop and implement best practices in store management.

Qualifications

· Demonstrated ability to lead teams to exceed sales targets while managing payroll effectively.

· Proven track record in identifying top talent, building teams, and developing/retaining high-performing individuals.

· Ability to navigate complex challenges and manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.

· Capacity to motivate and influence others through personal actions and leadership.

· Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

· Minimum of 4 years of management experience in specialty retail or multi-unit retail environments.

Physical Requirements

· Must be able to remain mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.

· Ability to lift and move medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., using appropriate equipment and safety protocols.

· Employment in this role is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.

· Full-time associates are expected to maintain flexible availability to meet business needs.

Benefits Offered

This position includes a competitive compensation package, with pay determined by various factors such as education, experience, certifications, and geographic location. The anticipated salary range for this role is $65,000-$88,000 annually.
