Pipe Foreman Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Foreman to join our Civil District team in Chandler, AZ. As a Pipe Foreman, you will be responsible for leading a team of pipe fitters and installers to ensure the successful completion of piping projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of pipe fitters and installers to install mechanical piping and supports
  • Read and interpret contract documents, submittals, shop drawings, architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings
  • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and safety protocols
  • Install different types of pipe material, including ductile, PVC, C-900, and sewer pipes
  • Shoot elevations and grades as needed
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the pipe-fitter/mechanical trade
  • Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
  • Able to create a safe working environment and understand OSHA regulations
  • Ability to take off and communicate tool and material requirements to the supervisor
  • Experience in carbon steel, copper (soldering, brazing), and PVC installations
  • Experience setting mechanical equipment, including Clarifier equipment and pumps
  • Ability to set up and perform piping tests
  • Reliable transportation to job-site
  • Self-motivated and able to work well with others
  • Able to pass a drug test and physical
