Pipe Foreman Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Foreman to join our Civil District team in Chandler, AZ. As a Pipe Foreman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful installation of mechanical piping and supports for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform layout, set elevations, and grading for pipe installations
  • Install mechanical piping and supports, including carbon steel piping and Victaulic couplings
  • Read and interpret contract documents, submittals, shop drawings, architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings
  • Supervise and manage a crew to ensure productivity and quality
  • Install different types of pipe material, including Ductile, PVC, C-900, and sewer pipes
  • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and shoot elevations and grades as needed
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the pipe-fitter/mechanical trade
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
  • Able to create a safe working environment and understand OSHA regulations
  • Ability to take off and communicate tool and material requirements to the supervisor
  • Experience in carbon steel, copper (soldering, brazing), and PVC installations
  • Experience setting mechanical equipment, including Clarifier equipment and pumps
  • Ability to set up and perform piping tests
  • Reliable transportation to job-site
  • Self-motivated and able to work well with others
  • Ability to pass a drug test and physical
