Responsibilities- Set up and maintain a clean and organized side station, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Provide prompt and attentive service to members and guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Distribute menus, answer questions, and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
- Efficiently serve food and beverages, handling cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
- Clear and reset tables, maintaining a clean and inviting atmosphere.
- Present dessert menus, suggest and serve dessert, coffee, and after-dinner drinks.
- Verify accuracy of prices, taxes, and charges on all checks.
- Present the bill and handle member charge and credit card transactions.
- Adhere to local and state laws, as well as the club's policies and procedures for serving alcoholic beverages.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Dining Room Manager or other Food and Beverage Manager.
- Grade 12 education.
- Two years of comparable wait service experience preferred.
- The ability to read, write, and execute basic math skills.
Required to stand for long periods, walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, and twist or reach. Push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds. Continuous repetitive motions. Work in different environments.
