Facilities Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Part Time Athletic Center Coordinator at Connecticut College. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the supervision of the Athletic Center and assisting in executing its schedule with emphasis on the multi-purpose courts in the Charles B. Luce Field House.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the supervision of the Athletic Center and assist in executing its schedule.
- Oversee the athletic center monitors and work with them to control access to the facility.
- Communicate with all groups regarding the schedule for the courts.
- Perform periodic walk-throughs of the facility to ensure a safe and clean environment.
- Assist and provide direction to student employees to ensure controlled access to the facility.
- Work with the athletic center manager to communicate daily schedules to users.
- Meet periodically with the director of athletics and/or athletic center manager and/or operations director to discuss supervision strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (preferred) with strong consideration given to those who have a degree in a related field.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in an emergency situation.
- Ability to interact well with a variety of people from all aspects of the College and community.
