Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced 2nd Assistant Superintendent to join our team at Plantation Bay Golf & Country Club. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and participating in the maintenance of our golf course areas, including tees, greens, fairways, and cart paths.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and participate in the maintenance of golf course areas, including tees, greens, fairways, and cart paths
  • Supervise the maintenance and repair of motorized and other mechanical equipment
  • Assist in planning and supervising the maintenance of greens, tees, and fairways
  • Supervise pesticide applications and/or operate and calibrate pesticide application equipment
  • Supervise and participate in the operation and maintenance of pumps and in the maintenance of irrigation and drainage systems
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Turfgrass Management related field preferred
  • Proven experience as an 2nd Assistant Superintendent or similar role
  • State of Florida Pesticide License – Mandatory & Current
  • Proficiency in computer use, knowledge of Microsoft Office and other application as specified by GCS
  • Ability to schedule supervise maintenance work to achieve the most efficient utilization of workers and equipment
Working Conditions

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Supervisory Control

Reports directly to the Golf Course Superintendent
