BallenIsles Country Club is seeking a skilled Golf Course Assistant Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and repairing golf course equipment, including mowing machines and other power equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overhaul and repair maintenance vehicles, mowing equipment, and other power equipment.
  • Lubricate and service all equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inspect equipment for operating deficiencies and make routine adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hydraulic systems, repairs, and components.
  • Inspect, change, and repair tires.
  • Assist in controlling tool access and use by maintenance staff.
  • Clean working areas after repair work is completed.
  • Assist in fabricating, body repair, and painting.
  • Adjust cutting units on mowing equipment.
  • Assist in training maintenance staff in proper care and upkeep of golf course equipment.
  • May be called upon to operate or train to operate various types of maintenance equipment.
  • Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination and experience.
  • Valid Driver's License, Mechanics Certificate from Gas and Diesel Engine Training Seminar.
  • Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform duties of the job.
