Position Overview:
As a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, you will deliver comprehensive pharmacy services across the healthcare facility. Your role will include supporting the surgical satellite and central pharmacy in distribution areas as required.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to manage medication therapy protocols.
2. Analyze, interpret, and assess medication orders to identify, prevent, and resolve any potential or actual drug-related issues.
3. Provide drug information and educational resources to both medical personnel and patients.
4. Document interventions and their outcomes to contribute to the quality improvement of drug therapy.
5. Supervise and coordinate the activities of Pharmacy Technicians to ensure a seamless workflow and adherence to service standards.

Professional Environment:
Foster and maintain a professional atmosphere within the pharmacy that aligns with Owensboro Health's Core Commitments. Utilize interpersonal skills to de-escalate conflicts among team members when necessary.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Pharmacy is required upon hire.
- No prior experience is necessary.
- Must hold a valid R.Ph. license as a Pharmacist in the state of Kentucky upon hire.

Skills and Attributes:
- Strong critical thinking and decisive judgment skills are essential.
- Ability to function effectively in a high-pressure environment and take appropriate actions.

Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, and reaching.
- Occasional sitting, climbing, kneeling, and bending.
- Ability to push/pull weights up to 75 lbs occasionally.
- Frequent communication and repetitive hand/arm movements.
