Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nutrition Specialist to join our team at Kyeatright.

Incentives:

Work Environment:
This role is set within an Acute Care facility.

Work Schedule:
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with one weekend shift approximately every eight weeks.

Qualifications:
Candidates must be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration or eligible. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive medical nutrition therapy, including nutrition assessments, dietary modifications, education, and interventions tailored to our patient demographics.
  • Adhere to all protocols as specified in the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements from federal, state, and accrediting bodies while maintaining confidentiality and upholding patient rights.
  • Mentor and train patient services staff and interns as needed.
  • Engage in patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and contribute to facility-wide Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement programs.

Required Skills:
  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible.
  • Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board where applicable.
  • Preferred: At least one year of experience in a hospital setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, diet office systems, and nutrient analysis software.
