We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach college students in the field of Risk Management and Insurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering discipline-related curricula, assessing student learning, and participating in program evaluation and college activities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and teach courses in Risk Management and Insurance, including curriculum design and implementation
- Assess student learning and progress, providing feedback and guidance as needed
- Participate in program evaluation and college activities, contributing to the development of academic programs and services
- Maintain college and department standards, upholding the College's mission and strategic plan
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree or higher, and meet one of the following requirements:
- Licensed Florida Adjuster - 620 or Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation and Certified Property & Casualty Lines instructor with the Florida Department of Financial Services
- Licensed Florida Agent - 220 and Certified Property & Casualty Lines instructor with the Florida Department of Financial Services
- Competence gained through work experience - 10 years
