YOUR ROLE:
Position Overview:
The Patient Account Specialist (PAS) plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service to patients, their families, physicians, and fellow team members.
It is anticipated that the PAS will assist in establishing a billable account, thereby supporting the financial health of Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

Reports to the Manager of Patient Access

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience Requirements:
Minimum:
One (1) year of relevant experience; prior experience in direct customer service is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Preferred:
Two (2) or more years of relevant experience, including direct customer service. Proficiency in operating basic office equipment (fax, printer, copier, scanner) is advantageous. Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
