We are seeking a skilled Coding Compliance Specialist to join our team at PSG Global Solutions Careers. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of medical coding practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and analyze medical records to identify discrepancies in coding
  • Validate coding and support the department in reporting findings
  • Audit medical records to ensure compliance with CMS Coding Guidelines and ICD9/ICD10 Coding Guidelines
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Associate Degree or 2 years of experience in the health insurance industry
  • National coding certification from AAPC or AHIMA, including one or more of the following: Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist Physician (CCS P), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
  • 2 years of medical coding experience through medical record abstraction
