Key Responsibilities- Research and analyze medical records to identify discrepancies in coding
- Validate coding and support the department in reporting findings

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Associate Degree or 2 years of experience in the health insurance industry
- National coding certification from AAPC or AHIMA, including one or more of the following: Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist Physician (CCS P), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
- 2 years of medical coding experience through medical record abstraction
