Job Summary:

As an Ambulatory Registered Nurse at Yale New Haven Health, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in an ambulatory setting. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect and analyze patient data to determine actual and potential diagnoses
Develop and implement individualized plans of care to achieve expected outcomes
Collaborate with healthcare consumers and other key stakeholders to ensure effective care delivery
Utilize evidence-based practice and research findings to inform nursing decisions
Contribute to quality nursing practice and evaluate own and others' nursing practice

Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
Current licensure and registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut
BSN preferred
BCLS certification or obtain within one month of hire

Working Conditions:

Prolonged standing, walking, and use of sight, hearing, and touch
Exposure to infectious diseases and physical, mental, and emotional illness
Moderate stress and risk of injury from patient care

Additional Information:

BLS, ACLS preferred
Cardiology experience preferred
Epic experience preferred
Phone triage/ambulatory care experience preferred
