Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for guiding the educational direction of our classes and developing individualized lesson plans that cater to the needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development
  • Supervise and interact with students, encouraging safe, friendly, and inclusive play
  • Assist students with daily tasks, such as dressing, washing hands, and toilet training, while promoting independence
  • Prepare meals and snacks for students, adhering to dietary restrictions
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them updated on their child's progress
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in early childhood education (ECE) or related field
  • 1 year of experience in a preschool or kindergarten setting, with 30 hours of college credit in child development or ECE
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) certification
  • CPR/first aid certification or willingness to obtain
  • Food handler certification within 30 days of hire
  • Gateways to Opportunity membership or willingness to join
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills
Work Schedule:

This position typically works Monday - Friday, with specific hours to be determined upon hire.
