Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our fast-paced, innovative team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a multi-region AWS-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.

Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Infrastructure: Design, implement, and manage a multi-region AWS-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Develop and Implement IaC Practices: Develop and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to manage AWS infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Teams: Collaborate with engineering teams to define infrastructure requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Interface with Customers and Partners: Interface with customers and partners to help design integrations and inform customers on improved practices.
  • Build and Maintain CI/CD Pipelines: Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools.
  • Optimize Cloud Costs: Optimize cloud costs through effective resource utilization and automation.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
  • Create Tooling: Create tooling around the infrastructure that allows product engineers to maintain high velocity in shipping features.
Requirements
  • 8+ Years of Experience: 8+ years of experience in a DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering role.
  • AWS Experience: Extensive experience with AWS as a platform and its services.
  • Multi-Region Experience: Experience with designing and implementing a multi-region AWS infrastructure.
  • IaC Experience: Experience with IAC to manage AWS infrastructure.
  • Scripting Languages: Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash).
  • Networking and Security: Deep understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
  • Containerization: Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to design and implement scalable and high-performance systems.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Location: Located and eligible to work in the US. Remote work friendly.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Software Development Experience: 3+ years of experience in software development (preferably with languages like Java or GoLang), ideally building developer-focused tooling.
  • Nginx and DNS Delegation: Experience with Nginx and DNS Delegation.
  • Cloud Migrations: Experience with cloud migrations and optimization projects.
  • Certifications: Certifications in AWS, DevOps, or related areas.
  • Startup Experience: Startup experience.
  • CDK and GoLang: Experience with CDK and/or GoLang.
