Job Description:This posting will remain open to generate a pool of qualified student applicants for available positions during the semester.
- Lead group learning sessions one to two times a week.
- Assist students with specific course-related concepts and problems.
- Provide feedback to instructor on student performance and participation in learning sessions.
- Facilitate development of effective, related study skills.
- Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with supervisor.
- May consult with faculty for course resources, guidance, and direction.
- Work approximately 5 to 10 hours per week depending on the number of sessions led.
- Develop and maintain relationships with professor and student participants.
- Must be a currently enrolled student and registered for classes.
- Must have completed MATH 3335 with an A.
- Must be dependable and professional.
- Ability to communicate and listen effectively while working closely with others.
- Ability to work and stay on task with minimal supervision.
- Experience in the Math Lab or other tutoring experience.
Salary: $13.00/hour
