The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests and contributing to the automation framework. You will work closely with development and business partners to ensure the quality of our software products.

  • Design and develop automated tests and contribute to the automation framework.
  • Collaborate with development and business partners to ensure the quality of our software products.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the maintainability of the automation platform.
  • Deliver accurate and maintainable code for test automation and software utilities.
  • Build CI/CD pipelines.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • BS/BA or equivalent education or experience.
  • 5+ years of software product experience working on commercially available software.
  • 3+ years of relevant technical experience and experience in test automation.
  • Proven experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Strong hands-on experience with crafting and maintaining testing frameworks like Selenium (TestNG), Playwright.
  • Strong knowledge of a programming language such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java.
  • Good understanding of web services testing and familiarity with RestAssured is preferred.
  • Good understanding of Jenkins as a CI tool and configuration.
  • Experience with SQL databases.
  • Highly collaborative individual with the ability to influence others and build strong partner relationships internally and externally.
  • Hands-on experience driving innovation process from end-to-end.
  • Background in DevOps environment is preferred.

The Team

We are a Quality Engineering-focused organization with experience in all aspects of application delivery in an agile environment across global locations. Our associates play a key role on Scrum teams within Workplace Investing Digital Platforms Technology. This role will support the Plan Sponsor Workstation and NetBenefits applications and its customer base.
