Software Development Engineer in Test

ShiftCode Analytics is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality of our data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automated testing frameworks to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
- Develop and maintain test data solutions to support data migration and warehousing initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers on testing and data quality best practices.
Requirements:
- 6-9 years of experience in software quality engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing systems and data migration concepts.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python and SQL.
- Strong experience with iCEDQ and ETL/ELT validations in Oracle, Snowflake, and PostgreSQL.
- Good understanding of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) frameworks.
- Strong experience with reporting tools such as OBIEE and Microsoft Power BI.
About the Position:
This is a contract position with a hybrid schedule, requiring 2 weeks of on-site work per month. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for enforcing quality engineering processes and best practices, and will be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
