Seafood Team Lead

At Whole Foods Market - West Palm Beach, we're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Seafood Associate Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our seafood department, you will be responsible for assisting the team leader in all aspects of daily operations, including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects.

• Develop and Maintain Creative Store Layout and Product Merchandising: Create visually appealing and effective store displays that showcase our seafood products and drive sales.
• Work with Team Leader to Achieve Sales, Purchasing, and Labor Targets: Collaborate with the team leader to set and achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets, ensuring the department meets or exceeds expectations.
• Assist Team Leader in Analysis of Sales, Reports, and Labor: Provide support to the team leader in analyzing sales data, reports, and labor metrics to inform business decisions and drive improvement.
• Assist Team Leader in Annual Sales and Expense Projections and Budget Preparation: Help the team leader develop and manage annual sales and expense projections, as well as prepare budgets to ensure the department operates within financial guidelines.
• Assist Team Leader with Ordering and Inventory Management: Support the team leader in managing inventory levels, ordering products, and ensuring accurate stock levels to meet customer demand.
• Work with Team Leader to Resolve Team Concerns or Issues: Collaborate with the team leader to address team concerns, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Function as Point Person and Departmental Person in Charge in Absence of Team Leader: Take on additional responsibilities and lead the department in the team leader's absence, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
