We are seeking a highly skilled Program Director to lead our efforts in Greater Minnesota. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for achieving the outcomes of our programs and grants.

About the Role:

  • Organize existing workplan activities into tasks with sufficient details and deadlines.
  • Direct team members to ensure tasks are completed and deadlines are met.
  • Lead weekly internal team meetings.
  • Collaborate and communicate with outside vendors and contractors.
  • Create program framework and propose new programs to meet the needs of the community.
  • Search through professional networks for resources that could be leveraged to support programs – such as workshop presenters.
  • Host programs/events outside of business hours (nights or weekends).
  • Communicate with stakeholders and State about grant work.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School degree, GED or equivalent.
  • Knowledge/experience with computers: Windows, Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong ethics, a good sense of boundaries, maintain confidentiality, and knowledge of sign language, the interpreting community, and Deaf culture.
  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and visual).
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
  • Valid driver's license and insured vehicle available for business use.
  • Fluent in ASL.
