Job Summary

The Nurse Manager, Operations will be responsible for managing and coordinating patient care and personnel needs in the Behavioral Health Emergency Department.

This role will oversee multi-specialty nursing services, ensuring high-quality care delivery and promoting education for patients, their families, and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate patient care and personnel needs
  • Oversee multi-specialty nursing services and ensure high-quality care delivery
  • Develop and implement processes for ongoing quality improvement in clinic operations
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Operations Director, Behavioral Health Service Line Director, and Medical Directors on fiscal requirements
  • Foster exemplary customer service and promote effective communication skills
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that reflect the behavioral health care site's mission and objectives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing strongly preferred
  • Minimum of three years of nursing experience required; management experience preferred
  • Combination of Emergency Department and Behavioral Health experience required
Licenses and Certifications
  • Current or compact RN licensure in North Carolina required
  • BLS certification required
  • Crisis Prevention Institute Training must be obtained within three months of hire
