We are looking for a proactive Lifeguard to monitor the safety and enjoyment of guests in our hotel pool area. Beyond standard lifeguard responsibilities, the ideal candidate will also assist with poolside service and maintenance tasks to elevate the guest experience. This position requires a blend of attentiveness, customer service, and hospitality skills to foster a safe and inviting pool environment.

Key Duties:

As a Lifeguard, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising pool areas to avert accidents and enforce safety protocols
  • Executing rescues and administering first aid as needed
  • Regularly testing pool water quality and temperature to ensure optimal conditions
  • Informing guests about pool safety guidelines and hotel amenities
  • Overseeing the distribution and collection of poolside equipment
  • Maintaining cleanliness and order in the pool area
  • Promptly reporting and addressing maintenance concerns
  • Assisting with the setup and breakdown of poolside furniture and equipment
Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who possess the following skills:

  • Current lifeguard certification along with first aid and CPR training
  • Previous experience in lifeguarding, pool attending, or service roles, ideally within the hospitality industry
  • Strong swimming skills and physical fitness for various tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Dedication to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a safe environment
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards is a plus
Requirements:
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Lifeguard Certification and CPR Training
  • Preferred minimum of 1 year of lifeguard experience
