We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate lifeguard to join our team at Inspir Carnegie Hill. As a lifeguard, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents at our pool area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the pool area during designated swimming hours to prevent accidents and ensure a safe swimming environment.
  • Enforce pool safety rules and regulations, responding promptly to any emergency situations.
  • Assist residents in and out of the pool, providing support for those with limited mobility.
  • Maintain records of pool usage, incidents, and maintenance concerns.
  • Work closely with caregivers and staff to coordinate pool activities and address special needs.
  • Regularly check pool chemical levels and report maintenance issues.
Requirements:
  • Current lifeguard certification (American Red Cross or equivalent)
  • First Aid and CPR/AED certification
  • Experience working with seniors or individuals with limited mobility preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm in emergency situations
  • Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of the elderly
