- Enforce pool safety rules and regulations, responding promptly to any emergency situations.
- Assist residents in and out of the pool, providing support for those with limited mobility.
- Maintain records of pool usage, incidents, and maintenance concerns.
- Work closely with caregivers and staff to coordinate pool activities and address special needs.
- Regularly check pool chemical levels and report maintenance issues.
- Current lifeguard certification (American Red Cross or equivalent)
- First Aid and CPR/AED certification
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with limited mobility preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm in emergency situations
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of the elderly
