About the Role:

Nightwing is seeking an experienced Security Architect/Engineer to provide expert-level security support and guidance to engineering and technical IT-related activities within the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of eleven years of IT program management, security, information assurance, and/or engineering experience, with a strong understanding of Intelligence Community Information Assurance policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support and oversight of all Information Assurance, Certification & Accreditation, and Assessment & Authorization activities.
  • Manage the processing of all organizational efforts through the risk management cycle, including coordinating and tracking risks, accreditation status, and reporting status across project teams.
  • Generate security plans as required and serve as the security advocate for all system/architecture changes.
  • Assemble and submit C&A packages to Principal Accreditation Authority/Designated Accreditation Authority, coordinate C&A actions, and system testing with appropriate security personnel.
  • Maintain a document repository where C&A project documentation is stored.

Requirements:

  • TS/SCI security clearance with Poly on day one and eligibility for crossover.
  • Strong technical skills and analytic ability, with good communication skills, written and oral.
  • Experience in an ISSO/ISSE/ISSM role, with knowledge of Customer PMF process, FISMA, DCID 6/3, ICD 503 Standards, and IT development lifecycle.
