Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at Elmhurst Hospital Center. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.

Requirements
- A valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
- Holds, or obtains through facility orientation, a valid and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).
