Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Intern to join our team at McLean Hospital. As a Pharmacy Intern, you will assist pharmacists and administrative staff in providing pharmaceutical care services, participating in pharmacy operations, and maintaining personal technical competency.
Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in preparing pharmaceutical preparations and performing Omnicell pharmacy functions.
- Ensure functionality of barcode scanning and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Provide positive and supportive communication to patients, families, visitors, and hospital personnel.
- Complete project assignments from management as needed.
- Maintain Pharmacy Intern licensure and documentation of hours.
- High school graduate, enrolled in an approved School/College of Pharmacy, or an unlicensed graduate of a school of pharmacy.
- MA Pharmacy Intern license required.
- Previous experience as a pharmacy intern in a hospital setting preferred.
