We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team at Performance Foodservice.

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with experience in heavy-duty vehicle repair to work with our fleet of diesel equipment, ensuring safe operation and compliance with industry standards.

About the Role:
  • As a Heavy-Duty Vehicle Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of diesel trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units.
  • You will also be expected to maintain accurate records of all work performed and ensure that all equipment is properly licensed and registered.
  • In addition to your technical skills, you will have excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, allowing you to effectively collaborate with colleagues and resolve complex issues.
What You'll Need:
  • 3-5 years of experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair, including preventative maintenance, tire and wheel service, air and disc brake systems, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, electronic component repair, and refrigeration experience.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license.
