Emergency Department Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Emergency Department team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical and financial operations of the unit, ensuring optimal patient care and adherence to established protocols and standards.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing leadership, with experience in managing day-to-day operations, coordinating inter and intra-departmental activities, and fostering a positive and professional climate within the nursing unit.
Key responsibilities will include managing unit operations, maintaining supplies and medications, overseeing daily KRONOS upkeep, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the daily Central/EMTALA log.
Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining position control reports, PLUS productivity, and overseeing all Customer Service initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Current Texas RN License or a Compact RN license in the state of employment.
- BLS and ACLS/ALS certifications are required.
- New hires must obtain PALS and TNCC within 6 months of hire.
- Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- 3+ years of experience as Charge RN, Coordinator, or Supervisor.
Salary up to $113K annually (based on experience)
