As a Medical Assistant at Austin Regional Clinic, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with direct patient care duties, including patient callbacks and refill requests
  • Performing diagnostic testing, such as EKGs, audiograms, and visual screenings
  • Administering medication under physician direction and within the scope of practice
  • Reviewing and documenting patient information in EPIC EMR
  • Providing excellent customer service and communication skills

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Medical Assistant experience or completion of a medical assistant program
  • Current AHA-approved Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course completion card
