Compensation:

$65,000 - $75,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project leaders, designers, and architects to formulate precise cost plans for upcoming projects.
  • Examine project specifications, architectural plans, and design documents to generate accurate cost estimates.
  • Identify and assess all material, labor, and other expenses, taking into account supply chain dynamics and market conditions.
  • Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive bids and ensure cost-efficient procurement.
  • Oversee project budgets throughout the construction phase, making necessary adjustments to uphold profitability.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and forecasts for senior management, highlighting potential cost-saving measures.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of cost estimation tools or advanced spreadsheets to boost efficiency and precision.
  • Provide support and direction to project teams regarding budgeting, cost management, and financial strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, trades, and clients to promote ongoing collaboration and business growth.
  • Ensure all cost plans align with organizational objectives and contribute to reaching revenue goals.
Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical abilities with a focus on budgeting, cost management, and financial strategy.
  • Proficient in cost estimation software, spreadsheet development, and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in construction cost planning, quantity surveying, or a related field.
  • A degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and eligibility to work in the United States.
